How safe is your storage facility?
A personalized security pin code is needed to access complex along with a password to protect the privacy of our customers. We also have 24 hour video surveillance cameras that monitor any activity around the clock along with our On Site Manager. Each unit is alarmed for added security. Security fencing and complex lighting are additional features.

How does self storage work?
A self storage centre provides customers with their own individual space. The owner of the goods is responsible for, and retains control over their goods after they have been put into storage. Customers lock their own space and keep the key and are in control of access and property of that unit. The unit is able to be accessed 24 hours per day / 7 days a week by the customer.

What can I store?
Anything that can be moved is able to be stored from a few boxes to a house full of furniture, cars, boats or caravans. Items unsuitable for storage are hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods.

How much space do I need?
We have over 20 different sizes of storage unit and work with customers to place them in the most appropriate economical space specific to their need. Our friendly Managers can assist you determining the size required for your unique situation. Follow the links to contact them and they will contact you to assist you in choosing the best size.

Will there be spaces that suit MY needs?
Even though we have over 20 various sizes to accommodate every customer’s requirements. We recommend an inspection to view our complex and to reassure yourself of the managers suggestion.

How much does it cost?
We have various prices which are determined by size ranging from as little as $75 per month.

What about insurance? Can I insure my goods in storage?
Depending on your insurer you may be allowed to transfer your current insurance over your possessions to our site. Don’t assume it will automatically cover your possessions. A phone call will confirm if your current insurance will provide cover. We also are able to offer customers a competitive quotation on QBE cover. Contact our friendly team to provide you with this quotation.

When can I access my goods?
At Eureka Storage you have access 24 hour, 7 day a week. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturday morning 9am - 12noon.

What payment methods do you offer?
It is important to us that we make this process easy for our customers and we provide access to EFTPOS, Direct Debit, Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard), (Automatic Credit Card Payment optional), telephone payments, internet banking, cheque and cash.

Is there a discount if I pay in advance?
Eureka Storage offer a discount of 2.5% payment for 3 months; 5% for 6 months and 10% for 12 months storage fees paid in advance.

What happens when I want to move out?
Eureka Storage require 7 days notice of vacating the unit and request that a forwarding address be supplied. A refund based on a weekly rate for the unused portion of the month will be processed after inspection of the vacated unit.

Does the Manager have a key to my unit?
As this is a self storage facility the Manager does not hold a key to your unit.

As a commercial customer, what if I need delivery and despatch services from my unit?
If it is specifically requested by you the customer we can accept deliveries and despatch for goods to and from your unit. If this is the case a “Managed Storage Agreement” is used which has specific terms for this type of storage service.

How can I get my goods into storage?
We have a complementary covered trailer for our customers to use on moving in of which it is a requirement to make a booking. Other ways to move in your goods in would be by removalist, hire truck or simply get your mates to help with their ute.

Can I purchase packing materials from Eureka Storage?
Yes you can. We have a wide range of packaging available including cardboard boxes, picture boxes, tapes, porta-robes, bubble wrap, butchers paper & tissue paper. Click to find out more about our packaging supplies.

Does Eureka Storage sell second hand boxes and buy back my second hand boxes?
Yes we do just bring them in and you will save both times if they are in good condition.

Can I receive my storage account from Eureka Storage by email?
Yes, we like to keep it as easy as possible for our customers if you travel or just do most things by email.

Isn’t moving possessions into storage a little too hard?
Moving is often a stressful time but at Eureka Storage we work with our customers to make the process as smooth as possible.
We can suggest packaging required.
We can suggest how to store your goods.
We can recommend a removalist if you need one. Some do not have a web page but offer good service, please call.
